Dodging Bullets by KatieHofgard Dodging Bullets by KatieHofgard
This was special commission! Kardi Corgi paid me to do a 7 hour painting last month of her unicorn courier character. But later she decided that she wanted to add a background into the piece, so she paid for her to be placed in a city setting running away from an unknown assailant with a gun! This piece played off several of my weaknesses at once, which made it very difficult. I'm not the best at non-organic settings, and I'm also not very good at adding a setting AFTER I've drawn a character.

Lots going on here that was quite a challenge for me, so I recognize that it might not be a perfect city setting in a lot of ways. This was very good practice though, and despite it's flaws I'm pretty proud of the result! I ended up going overtime by quite a lot to get it as good looking as I could.

19 hours total (including character painting from last month)
